Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) Onboarding

RPM 115 - This course is designed to provide Direct Care Workers with the knowledge and skills required to successfully onboard elderly patients into Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs. The course covers topics such as patient consent and preparation, integrating RPM into caregiving practice, understanding the role of the patient, and the role of the doctor's office in RPM care.

By the end of this course, you will be able to

  1. understand the RPM onboarding process, including obtaining patient consent and selecting and setting up the appropriate RPM device;
  1. integrate RPM into caregiving practice and develop a caregiving schedule using RPM data;
  1. communicate with other healthcare providers using RPM data and coordinate care with the doctor’s office; and
  1. empower patients in the RPM process and encourage patient engagement with RPM devices.
